Living in the Sunnyside area of Morgantown for three years I have seen my fair share of litter. I would be embarrassed to bring family and friends around my neighborhood. In order to capture the realistic images, I had to shoot them from many strategic angles.

While finishing construction on a site-specific installation, I noticed an immense amount of litter. This led me to my photo montage topic. What better day than Earth Day to photograph the unsightly scenery of refuse. My goal was to bring attention to this mess.
